2012 is most definitely London’s year! With the recent festivities for the Jubilee and the forthcoming Olympics, all eyes are on our capital city, and as it holds some of the world’s most iconic and visited sites, it’s the perfect theme for your next party. We’ve put together some of our favourite ideas for hosting a London party; all that’s left for you to do is make the cucumber sandwiches and wrap the pass-the-parcel!
The Invitations
There are some really lovely London themed invites out there as well as blank greetings cards that can easily be hand written with the details of your little one’s party. We particularly love these three (L-R) from Not on the High Street, Cutture and Hello! Lucky.

The Tableware
Choose pillar box red plates and accessorise with London themed accents featuring black cabs, the soldiers of Buckingham Palace and of course the iconic Routemaster bus. Napkins and plates below from Party Pieces and soldier cups from Dot Com Gift Shop.

The Sweet Treats
One of our go-to companies for gorgeous biscuits and cupcakes here at Pretty Little Baby is Biscuiteers, and they have two perfect ranges for London themed parties. Their union jack cupcakes will look great centre stage and the contents of this fabulous London tin look too pretty to eat! For a decadent take-home gift, this Harrods red bus is filled with sweeties and can be used as a moneybox once they’ve all been eaten!
